Christie Milbury

Christie opened Summit Stables in December of 2016. She has a long background in the equine industry, beginning riding when she was younger in New Hampshire. She rode and showed competitively throughout her high school years and then began her professional career at Phoenix Stables while obtaining a degree in Recreational Business Management and Policy at the University of New Hampshire.

She then worked at Kierson Farm in New Jersey running one of the largest lesson programs on the east coast.  From there she moved to Texas for some more experience with young horses and breeding, which then lead to her move to Kansas City.  She has been in Kansas City for several years working for several of the industry's top professionals, helping to achieve several World and National Championships.

At this point she decided to open her own facility to share the knowledge and love of the American Saddlebreds with others.  Located just minutes from downtown Kansas City, we encourage you to come visit us and schedule your free introductory lesson today!

Christie is a member of the United Professional Horseman Association, United States Equestrian Federation, American Saddlebred Horse Association, and Morgan Horse Association.  Christie is also a USEF Safe Sport Certified Professional. She has extensive experience with riders and horses of all levels and enjoys helping a rider and horse become a team both in and out of the show ring.
